Damian Boylan's material-centric, process-driven practice spans painting, sculpture, new media and sound to explore themes of time and consciousness. With a Master’s degree (MEng) in Aerospace Engineering, his work fuses rare earth elements and recherché substances with rigorous theory, producing works that reconfigure time-honoured techniques with self-devised methodologies.

British-born Boylan's studio practice is in Hong Kong, China.
